New Month and News

I love the start of the month...seems as if it's a clean slate to work with, especially when I come into it having crossed some biggies off the perpetual to-do list the month before.

My two manuscripts I was working on last month are done, and you'll be able to see both of them soon. One was my next release, Falling For the Other Brother, a sexy menage which comes out next week. (Sidenote--I have a release every other week for the next couple months! Feels great after the dry spell that was September.)

The other story, Making His List, aka "the puking kid story" for those of you who've been keeping up :), was contracted last week and will be out on December 1st as part of Dreamspinner's annual Advent Calendar and also as a single-sale novella. Here's the (unofficial) blurb:

Cory tried to end his casual fling with Ken when his troubled sister and young niece move in. Bailey's had enough upheaval in her short life, and he doesn't want her getting attached to someone who won't be sticking around. Yet against his will, Cory finds himself drawn to Ken--going back again and again. Even so, a one-night-stand gone serial isn't what Cory wants in a partner, so he makes The List--the requirements for his ideal man.

The only time Cory ever lets Ken get close is when they're in bed, otherwise he's kept at arm's length. But when a bout of the flu makes him an indispensible helper, Ken finds himself being pulled into the family unit. His hopes are high until, while helping Bailey with her list for Santa, he finds Cory's list. What he reads there hurts his pride and makes him turn his back on what is growing between them.

It's already a battle for their fragile relationship. Then Bailey disappears, and Cory needs Ken more than ever.

  1. Congrats on all those releases! You've been a prolific lady. I can't wait for Making His List. It has m/m romance and a kid. I can't resist that combination.

  5. :) Lol @ Eyre and Chris! Hmm...I've often thought about doing some kind of contest and writing a to-spec story for the winner...

Eyre, sorry to say I didn't give Bailey a pet, just didn't have the page time to do it justice. But will keep in mind for another story! Or maybe she'll get one for Christmas...?

Thanks Shawn, it felt good to wrap them up! And got to reward myself the The Beach House since I'm all caught up for the moment!
